I'm Nikki, Founder and the face behind Home of the Wilde.
To give you a glimpse into my crazy little world and how Home of the Wilde came to be.......
I live on the Sunshine Coast in our little farmhouse with my loving partner Kev, our two little wild ones Kaiden (6) and Sonny Wilde (7 months) and our larger than life Weimaraner and Staffy pups.
It is my belief certain pieces should last a lifetime. Timeless pieces that you can cherish and then pass down to your kids and your children's kids. There is nothing quite like pieces that are lovingly handmade as though they were created just for you. Whether it be the warmth from that homewares piece constructed of raw timber, the beauty of the imperfections in that handmade ceramic or knowing that your little one is wearing clothing that is thoughtfully slow produced, ethical and sustainable yet still incredibly comfortable and can withstand their on the go playful lifestyle.
I wanted to create one space where you could shop for it all, homewares, children's wear and mindful play. A store where you can buy lovingly handmade sustainable products sourced from around the world and support the Artisan, other small businesses and be kind to our planet in the process. You will not see in our store any factory mass produced products where workers are treated unfairly and poorly.
